Author Guidelines

1. Suggestions / recommendations:

  • Please meet journal deadlines (a quick turn-around is the asset of online journals).
  • Please also submit photos and a (short) CV; authors will be briefly introduced at the end of each article.
  • Please contact the editorial staff if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Please do not submit articles or independent contributions that have been published or submitted elsewhere.

2. Structure of the manuscript:

To ensure anonymity of the peer review process for main articles and contributions, please provide some information on a separate page:

Page 1         Author name, title of the contribution, correspondence address, email address

Page 2         Title of the contribution (without naming the author)

Page 3         Zusammenfassung / Schlüsselwörter and Abstract / Keywords (in both German and English)

Page 4ff.      Text of the contribution

At the end   List of references

As well as all information that should not be included in the peer review process, such as acknowledgements, information about the authors, and photo of the authors or explicit references in the text to one of the authors (can be added later on).

3. Copyright of the articles

Authors will keep the copyright of their articles. Contributions will be published under a Creative-Commons-license (CC-BY-SA 4.0).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • It is the responsibility of the author, to obtain permission to use any previously published and/or copyrighted material and indicate it in the text.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • I agree with the publication of the personal details that I share in the context of this submission (name, information on institution/biography as well as email and if applicable homepage URL).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
