Author Biography

Dr. phil. Barbara Margarethe Eggert, Linz University of the Arts

Dr. phil. in art history with a focus on comics research, exhibition theory and practice; important non-university stations: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein. Since 2019, Eggert has been teaching and researching at the Kunstuniversität Linz. In 2020, she rescued an old teddy bear from disposal and has since become increasingly interested in this type of toy and its representation in (children's and youth) literature.
