Abstract

The following article is an examination of the video work Resusci Anne (2019/2020) by Ida Kammerloch, which can be viewed exclusively via the link at the end of the contribution. In close collaboration, artist Ida Kammerloch and curator Mona Hesse have created a commentary on the film composed of film stills, graphics, background information and notes.

Author Biographies

Ida Kammerloch

Born in 1991; studied free art at the Saar University of Fine Arts Saarbrücken; 2019 master student with Prof. Lanz; 2020-2022 scholarship holder of the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation; international exhibition activity in Moscow, Valencia, Luxembourg, among others; lives and works in Vienna.

Mona Hesse, Art Museum Celle

Born 1990; MA studies in art history at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig; 2017-2019 scientific trainee at the Kunstmuseum Celle; study visits to the University of East London and the German Forum for Art History, Paris; freelance curator and cultural manager in Hannover.
